King Street Gallery on William is located in the heart of the Sydney arts district. It is within walking distance of the Art Gallery of NSW and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Now in operation for 30 years King Street Gallery on William represents a number of Australia’s most established artists including: Elisabeth Cummings, Idris Murphy, Jenny Sages and Wendy Sharpe as well as being active in developing and promoting emerging and mid career artists.
King Street Gallery on William offers clients expert advice in all areas of purchasing, valuing and collection management.
In 1982 King Street Gallery in Newtown was opened by Robert Linnegar and Hugo Farmer. They had monthly exhibitions for emerging artists and offered a framing and photography service for many years.
Randi Linnegar joined as co-director of King Street Gallery in 1996 and has over 25 years experience in the visual arts in the US and Australia. Randi is an Australian registered valuer with the Australian Government Taxation Incentives for the Arts Scheme.
